홍인관대표이사 / Founder

Ike Hong is a recognized entrepreneur and investor with more than 15 years of experience owning, operating, and exiting companies in the global battery industry. The legacy began with Kokam, a lithium ion cell manufacturer founded by his family in 1989. Over three decades of ownership culminated in Kokam’s landmark cross border sale to SolarEdge (NASDAQ: SEDG) in 2018, a transaction that Ike personally directed and later supported as President during a four year post acquisition integration.

He also founded Kokam Electronics, developed advanced modules, BMS technologies, and EV charging systems, and he holds over 15 patents in battery related fields.

In 2023, Ike led the successful exit of RouteJade, another family owned company operated for over 15 years, through its sale to Enovix (NASDAQ: ENVX). Together, these two landmark transactions established the foundation for Ike Investment, the single family office that now manages USD 120 million of proprietary capital.

Beyond exits, the family has retained ownership of Elcom, a leading manufacturer of battery components, and made selective investments in technology and energy companies such as Sunverge in the United States and Destin Power in Korea. Ike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
